Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Discipline Supervisors in managing subcontractor activities to ensure project alignment.
• Develop and update detailed construction schedules, optimizing sequences to limit work overlaps.
• Implement the HSE management system at the site within your area of operation.
• Lead weekly meetings with discipline subcontractors and participate in construction meetings with the Client.
• Verify that all works are congruent with technical specifications and material delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with the Site Control Manager to define priorities and promote recovery plans in case of delays.
• Manage interfaces between disciplines and assist supervisors in the management of subcontracts and change orders.
• Work alongside the Commissioning Manager to ensure seamless transition between construction completion and plant pre-commissioning.
• Perform discipline quality inspections in liaison with the QAE according to the Inspection Plan.

Requirements

• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Proven experience in the construction or modernization of large petrochemical plants or EPC projects.
• Strong experience in subcontractor management and construction/commissioning management within large-scale EPC projects.
• Previous experience working on the Contractor side of major projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to manage teams.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem resolution and timely performance.
