Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil site team activities and ensure effective collaboration with customers and contractors
• Monitor project schedules, track progress, and implement corrective actions as required
• Support Civil Field Engineers (CFEs) to ensure contractor compliance with technical specifications, QA/QC, HSE, and timelines
• Oversee subcontractor certifications, field quality plans, constructability reviews, and NCR follow-up
• Provide regular reporting to the General Site Manager and Civil PM regarding HSE, quality, progress, risks, and contractor performance
• Resolve construction issues on-site while ensuring strict adherence to HSE policies and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of technical experience in civil construction and HSE (including earthworks, foundations, and prefabricated buildings)
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing subcontractors and customers in a construction environment
• Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish and English
• Willingness to travel to sites within Spain every other week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with BIM (Building Information Modeling)
• Proficiency as a user of Primavera P6
