About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements
- Lead and supervise the site supervision team and monitor contractor performance, progress, and resource deployment
- Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, utility providers, and authorities to ensure efficient project delivery
- Identify and mitigate construction risks, resolve site issues, and support timely decision-making
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Monitor project progress and support the successful testing, commissioning, and handover of works
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the management of design and/or construction of major infrastructure projects
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager on at least one project of similar size and complexity
- Experience managing multidisciplinary construction and site supervision teams
- Strong knowledge of construction management, contract administration, quality assurance, and health and safety requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university
- Middle East experience is highly advantageous
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation
