Construction Manager

About the Company

Radiant is a startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor designed to provide critical power to hospitals, data centers, and remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite authority representing ownership during all phases of construction
• Drive execution across GCs, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedule and quality
• Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and change orders with a bias toward speed
• Provide constructability and operational feedback to design teams based on field conditions
• Coordinate with internal Engineering, EHS, and Regulatory teams to ensure alignment

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in construction management or owner’s representation for industrial/manufacturing facilities
• Demonstrated success in onsite, field-driven roles with direct GC oversight
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Oak Ridge, TN, including weekends during active construction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in highly regulated environments such as energy, nuclear, defense, or aerospace
• Direct involvement in design-for-construction or design-for-operations efforts
• Background supporting long-term ownership of site facilities
