Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management support for EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital.
• Coordinate and manage the submittal process to ensure compliance with project specifications, VA standards, and codes.
• Document, track, and monitor Requests for Information (RFIs) and responses.
• Monitor project schedules, including milestone completion, phasing, and material deliveries.
• Perform field inspections of construction work and report non-conforming work to the COR.
• Conduct field verification of as-built drawings and maintain updated project plans.
• Monitor project financial data, budgetary cost accounting, and assist with contract change orders.
• Prepare observation reports, defect lists, and daily inspection logs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Alternatively, 15 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facility construction management.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex construction documents.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project construction team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on healthcare facility or hospital projects.
