Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate various independent contractors across multiple jobsites
• Order construction materials and monitor quantity and quality
• Ensure all completed tasks meet Perry Homes quality standards
• Manage construction timelines, supervision, overhead costs, and budget variances
• Handle change orders and perform warranty services according to company procedures
• Execute tasks assigned by the Project Manager, VP of Construction, or Division President

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• Relevant management or leadership experience
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, construction plans, plats, and development plans
• Proficiency in MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fundamental knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Possession of a personal truck that complies with company construction policies
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with contractors and homeowners
