Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct and integrate the activities of multiple, major construction projects
• Develop and establish policies and construction strategies for the program
• Oversee the preparation and management of construction management objectives and plans
• Manage and administer a large, diverse team of professional, technical, and support staff
• Manage working relationships between project leadership, airport administration, contractors, and stakeholders
• Serve as a liaison with contractors and airport officials on construction progress
• Collaborate with airport leadership to establish programmatic scheduling goals and priorities
• Recommend and participate in the development of airport construction policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of aviation-related construction experience
• OSHA 30 certification
• Knowledge of FAA Technical Specifications and TSA security requirements
• Knowledge of local building codes and OSHA standards
• Understanding of Quality Assurance requirements
• Experience with RFIs, Change Orders, and Task Orders

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering license
• Architect's license
