Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full construction lifecycle from mobilization to handover
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Manage day-to-day construction activities and ensure smooth site operations
• Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of work against project schedules
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors on site
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure alignment
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and Abu Dhabi building codes
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and promote a proactive safety culture
• Monitor project costs and contribute to budget control measures
• Review subcontractor performance and certify works for payment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 15–20 years of progressive experience in construction project execution
• Minimum 5+ years in a managerial role overseeing large-scale projects
• Proven track record of delivering projects in the UAE
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and local authority requirements
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• PMP certification
