Construction Manager, MEP

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall MEP site operations, particularly HVAC works
• Plan and supervise installation of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, and ventilation systems
• Oversee daily site activities, manpower allocation, and material management
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to avoid clashes
• Ensure implementation of HSE policies and conduct toolbox talks
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and shop drawings
• Monitor project schedule and manage subcontractor performance
• Supervise testing and commissioning of HVAC systems
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities for inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10–15 years of experience in MEP construction
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial or site leadership role
• Strong hands-on experience in HVAC systems (District Cooling, Chilled Water, VRF)
• Knowledge of UAE authority regulations and standards
• Proficiency in MS Office and project planning tools like Primavera or MS Project

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-rise, commercial, hospital, or industrial projects
