Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all onsite construction activities related to civil and underground infrastructure works for an offshore topside project.
• Manage construction execution in accordance with project schedules, specifications, drawings, and HSE requirements.
• Supervise complex works including piling, deep foundations, excavation, trenching, and underground utility installations.
• Oversee the installation of piping systems (HDPE, GRP, ductile iron, reinforced concrete) and utility networks such as stormwater, sewer, and potable water.
• Coordinate electrical and communication duct banks, including MV/LV cable laying and underground installations.
• Manage interfaces between civil, MEP, utility, and infrastructure packages.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and local authority regulations.
• Promote and enforce a strong HSE culture and ensure compliance with all project safety policies.
• Monitor productivity and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
• 12–15 years of construction experience in major infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing civil and underground utility works on large-scale developments.
• Strong knowledge of underground utility systems, foundation works, and heavy civil construction methodologies.
• Experience working in the Middle East/GCC region is preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
