Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the establishment of Construction Management Plans, Site Specific Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans.
• Devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns, delays, or significant changes to the scope of work.
• Act as the primary contractor representative with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers during project execution.
• Manage procurement by preparing purchase requisitions and procuring items necessary for field office operations.
• Establish procedures for the administration of field vehicles and equipment, including maintaining status logs and reports.
• Coordinate the drafting of requisitions, subcontract scopes of work, amendments, and task orders.
• Monitor contractor expenses against the budget and manage timely change orders.
• Supervise the preparation of monthly construction progress reports and contract status reports.

Requirements

• 15 years of total experience in turnkey projects.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position within the infrastructure sector.
• Full proficiency in English.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
