Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction of a new brownfield EV battery manufacturing plant from start to finish
• Develop and implement construction plans to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies
• Oversee site preparation, foundation work, building construction, and equipment installation
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Manage project budgets and track expenses
• Communicate project progress regularly to the Chief Engineer and senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Native or fluent proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese
• 10+ years of experience in construction management
• 5+ years of experience on large, complex projects
• Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with brownfield or greenfield sites
• Knowledge of automotive regulations, EV batteries, energy, or complex site construction
