About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site construction management for early works scopes including mass grading, utilities, roads, demolition, and remediation
- Direct and coordinate daily field activities to ensure safe, timely, and quality delivery
- Serve as the single point of contact for early works construction and communicate project status
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, including KPI and cost tracking
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure aligned execution
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental programs
- Identify and mitigate project risks and develop necessary reporting tools
- Manage vendor performance and ensure contract compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of construction management experience
- 7+ years of experience managing complex capital projects and programs
- 10 years of experience in "extreme" mass grading and large-scale civil construction (projects involving at least 4 million cubic yards of soil)
- Experience with mission-critical facilities or large-scale projects
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Bluebeam (P6 preferred)
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential
- Experience with cold shell or large distribution center construction
- Experience with subgrade infrastructure and utility coordination
- Experience working in seismic construction environments
- Proven track record of driving innovative solutions and overcoming project barriers
