About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site construction management for early works scopes including mass grading, utilities, roads, demolition, and remediation
  • Direct and coordinate daily field activities to ensure safe, timely, and quality delivery
  • Serve as the single point of contact for early works construction and communicate project status
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, including KPI and cost tracking
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure aligned execution
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental programs
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and develop necessary reporting tools
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure contract compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of construction management experience
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex capital projects and programs
  • 10 years of experience in "extreme" mass grading and large-scale civil construction (projects involving at least 4 million cubic yards of soil)
  • Experience with mission-critical facilities or large-scale projects
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Bluebeam (P6 preferred)
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential
  • Experience with cold shell or large distribution center construction
  • Experience with subgrade infrastructure and utility coordination
  • Experience working in seismic construction environments
  • Proven track record of driving innovative solutions and overcoming project barriers
