Construction Manager Earthworks and Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the construction management within Earthworks and Civil Engineering
• Report to the project manager and participate in production technical solutions
• Manage daily contact with the contractor and follow up on contract progress
• Control contractor work, self-controls, work preparations, inspections, and final documentation
• Identify risks and provide basis for decision-making regarding measures
• Coordinate with adjacent contracts, Trafikverket projects, and external parties
• Ensure compliance with authority requirements, permits, and work environment standards
• Represent Trafikverket in meetings and consultations

Requirements

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a construction manager in Earthworks and Civil Engineering within the last 15 years
• Experience from at least 3 different projects as a construction manager for new construction of railway bridges or road bridges over/under railways
• Completed and approved Concrete Class 1 training
• Experience with ABK09 and AB04
• B-driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project/construction management for a public client
• High level of initiative
