Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Schedule project resources and manage budgets to meet deadlines
• Confer with owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve construction issues
• Assist Project Manager with budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking
• Plan, organize, and direct activities for construction or maintenance of structures and systems
• Inspect projects to ensure compliance with building, safety, and environmental codes
• Direct and supervise all workers for assigned projects to ensure profitability and completion
• Perform installation of antennas, mounts, cable ladders, and microwave radio systems
• Lead safety meetings and mentor tower technicians
• Implement and oversee Quality Assurance Inspections and Processes
• Determine labor requirements and evaluate construction methods for cost-effectiveness

Requirements

• Experience in construction and maintenance of Self-Support/Guyed towers, monopoles, and antenna structures
• General tower and fall protection safety knowledge (100% tie off techniques)
• Basic rigging ability with ropes, blocks, and tackles
• Knowledge of using transits, compasses, and setting azimuths
• Experience with antenna alignment tools and wireless antenna mounts
• Sweep & PIM testing experience (Anritsu gear preferred)
• Fiber scope and OTDR testing experience
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain DOT physical certification
• Ability to pass background checks for government security clearances
• Willingness to travel extensively (3-6 weeks at a time) and work non-structured schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL Class A certification
• Gin pole experience
• OSHA 30 certification
• Competent Climber and Competent Rescue certifications
• First Aid/CPR certification
