Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate construction management within assigned contracts
• Support the project manager in production technical issues
• Monitor contracts regarding time, technology, quality, economy, environment, work environment, and safety
• Maintain daily contact with contractors and coordinate work
• Verify contractor work, self-controls, and work preparations
• Participate in inspections, design, and review of technical solutions
• Identify risks and deviations and propose corrective actions
• Document and report through diaries, meeting minutes, and final documentation
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure efficient production

Requirements

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• At least 5 years of experience as a site manager, construction manager, or equivalent in road/railway infrastructure projects (not older than 10 years)
• At least 3 years of the above experience specifically as a construction manager, production manager, or inspector in bridge projects for road/railway
• Experience applying AMA Anläggning 20 or later
• Experience applying Allmänna bestämmelser (AB04)
• Completed and approved training in Betong klass 1
• B-driver's license and access to own car for work
• AMA Premium license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with new bridge construction projects (e.g., slab bridges, multi-span bridges)
• At least one year of experience in traffic safety work within road/railway projects
• Training in APV Step 1.1 or higher, or BASÄSKYDD
• Experience with foundation work through piling
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges
