Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities for a 100 Mw simple-cycle dual fired power plant project near Clifton, KS
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with CPM schedules and contract requirements
• Report on construction productivity, schedule performance, and budget trends to the Project Manager
• Participate in monthly contractor management meetings and weekly coordination meetings
• Oversee construction completion walkdowns, punch list items, and handover of start-up packages
• Monitor site access, material storage audits, and timely responses to RFIs
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety and quality standards on-site

Requirements

• 14+ years of construction supervisory experience
• 3+ years of experience specifically as a Construction Manager
• OSHA Training certification
• Ability to work in a field assignment environment with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of EPC industry and constructability
• Experience with Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, or Nuclear construction technology
• Proficiency in Construction Project Management Systems and risk assessment/management
• Strong leadership, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
