Construction Manager BEST

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the BEST construction management team
• Report to the project manager and participate in production technical solutions
• Manage daily contact with the contractor and monitor progress
• Control contractor work, identify risks, and provide decision support
• Coordinate with adjacent contracts and external parties
• Review control plans, work preparations, self-controls, inspections, and final documentation
• Ensure compliance with environmental, authority, and permit requirements
• Represent Trafikverket in meetings and consultations

Requirements

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a construction manager within Rail and/or Electrical Engineering
• Experience as a construction manager for at least one major yard reconstruction (contract value >100 mkr) involving more than 3 tracks
• Experience with ABK09 and AB04
• Valid B-driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Long-term experience in project or construction management for a public client
• High level of initiative
