Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the client's representative on the construction site
• Manage contract follow-up and contracting of consultants/contractors
• Handle resource planning and risk management
• Manage changes and deviations
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HMS) standards are met
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure smooth communication with all project parties

Requirements

• Solid understanding of construction and complex projects
• Vocational school, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in construction
• Experience working on the client side
• Experience with large-scale construction projects, preferably healthcare or complex purpose-built buildings
• Knowledge of public procurement and contract forms (NS8405)
• Proficiency with digital tools such as Dalux or Omega 365
• Strong Norwegian language skills (written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical background in construction (e.g., carpenter)
• Experience specifically within hospital construction projects
