Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction-phase activities and serve as the primary liaison with the Government's Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
• Monitor construction schedules, milestones, phasing strategies, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate the submittal review process and monitor contractor compliance with specifications and safety plans.
• Perform routine field inspections, compile defect lists, and report deficiencies to the COR.
• Support project financial management, including budgets, obligations, payments, and cost projections.
• Provide claims and dispute resolution support, including time impact analyses and risk assessments.
• Assist with pre-design efforts such as site investigations, cost estimates, and constructability reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of related construction management experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on federal construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contractor schedules.
• Ability to perform detailed field inspections and produce technical reports.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training.
