About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead on-site representative and primary liaison with the Government's Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
  • Oversee construction-phase activities, including submittal reviews, contractor compliance, and safety plan monitoring.
  • Monitor construction schedules, milestones, material deliveries, and testing/inspection dates.
  • Perform routine field inspections, compile defect lists, and report deficiencies to the COR.
  • Support project financial management by monitoring budgets, obligations, payments, and cost projections.
  • Provide claims and dispute resolution support, including time impact analyses and risk assessments.
  • Assist in pre-design and design phases through site investigations, cost estimates, and constructability reviews.
  • Maintain project documentation, including as-built drawings, RFIs, change orders, and project management plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of related construction management experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and project documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on federal construction projects.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed field inspections and produce technical reports.
  • Experience reviewing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contractor schedules.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training.
