Construction Management Lead

Responsibilities

• Develop, standardize, and enforce construction, HSE, and quality standards.
• Advise project teams on technical, organizational, and regulatory topics, including feasibility studies.
• Monitor the entire project landscape, identify risks, and escalate issues to management.
• Manage construction processes, trades, specialist site managers, and external partners within a GMP environment.
• Review plans, construction schedules, progress reports, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk analyses in accordance with SIA 118.
• Ensure GMP-compliant documentation, including site logs, acceptances, test reports, and mechanical completion.
• Act as the primary interface between the client, planners, general contractors, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Multi-year experience in construction management for large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in GMP environments (Pharma, Biotech, or Chemical) is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Swiss construction and safety regulations.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM structures and managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong leadership, governance, and diplomatic skills.
• Fluency in both German and English.
