Construction & Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to excavate pipelines and perform general maintenance.
• Execute pipeline maintenance activities including manual labor, bolting, torquing, pipe fitting, and hydrostatic testing.
• Perform pipeline coating removal and application following company standards.
• Transport equipment to job sites using assigned work trucks and semi-trucks.
• Read and analyze technical drawings and assist in spotting lines during excavation.
• Provide support for damage prevention, right of way relations, and emergency response activities.
• Perform all work in a safe and environmentally conscious manner in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver License with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass a health questionnaire, drug test, and background check.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 75%), handle call-outs, and work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field.
• Current Class A CDL.
• Previous pipeline welding experience.
