Construction Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading/unloading equipment and supplies
• Set up worksite traffic and safety controls
• Hand dig with shovels, picks, and digging bars to expose utilities
• Operate jackhammers, air knives, and pneumatic boring equipment
• Place conduit and cables in trenches and install couplers
• Restore worksites by refilling trenches, tamping soil, and placing asphalt or concrete
• Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment
• Follow safety and incident reporting procedures

Requirements

• Valid CA Driver’s License for at least three years with a clean DMV record
• Ability to lift 80 pounds or more
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in all weather conditions
• Knowledge of heavy/highway construction equipment and materials
• Ability to work independently and follow oral/written instructions
• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina
