Construction Integration Engineer

Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. Our volumetric module platform and highly-automated production system drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for multifamily housing through a digital factory model.

Responsibilities

• Champion and implement Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles across the organization
• Translate digital building models (BIM/CAD) into integrated work packages and detailed assembly sequences
• Develop and deploy visual, operator-centric work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Lead hands-on process trials and prototyping on the shop-floor to improve assembly workflows and workcell layouts
• Define requirements for fabrication-level shop drawings and coordinate with modeling teams
• Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
• Establish robust process documentation and feedback loops between the factory floor and engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience
• Deep background in construction, cabinet-making, woodworking, or a related trade
• Proven experience applying DFMA principles to product design and assembly
• Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or integration engineering within construction or manufacturing
• Expertise in manual assembly processes and optimizing workflows
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Six Sigma, or Kaizen)
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
