Construction Instrumentation Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractor activities for the instrumentation discipline to ensure plant construction meets erection schedules and project documents.
• Cooperate with the project team on constructability and feasibility studies, including technical tabulation of bidder proposals.
• Control and approve subcontractor method statements to ensure correct application in the field.
• Ensure strict implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for all assigned areas and activities.
• Monitor subcontractor manpower and equipment to ensure compliance with design documents, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Perform inspections, sign necessary certificates, and manage the non-conformity register and resolution process.
• Detect design errors and coordinate with Site Engineers for necessary rectifications.
• Manage vendor specialists and assist contract managers in defining new prices or analyzing claims.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience.
• Significant experience in a similar supervisory role within EPC Oil & Gas or Refinery projects.
• Proven experience in the Pre-Installation and Erection stages of construction.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem resolution.
