About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct subcontractor activities for the instrumentation discipline to ensure plant construction meets erection schedules and project documents.
- Cooperate with the project team on constructability and feasibility studies.
- Control and approve subcontractor method statements to ensure correct application in the field.
- Ensure the implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for assigned areas and activities.
- Monitor subcontractor equipment and manpower to ensure compliance with design documents, safety regulations, and quality levels.
- Perform inspections and sign necessary certificates according to site inspection plans.
- Maintain the non-conformity register and coordinate the resolution of any issues.
- Detect design errors and coordinate with Site Engineers for necessary rectifications.
- Manage vendor specialists and assist the contract manager in analyzing claims and preparing subcontract amendments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience.
- Significant experience in a similar supervisory position on EPC Oil & Gas or Refinery projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong management skills with a focus on attention to detail and timely problem resolution.
