Construction Inspector

Responsibilities

• Assist in site inspections of building, mechanical/plumbing, and electrical construction work
• Document site conditions, maintain personnel/equipment/material logs, and report unsafe conditions
• Review plans and specifications for constructability before work starts
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with senior inspectors and COR
• Support quality assurance tracking to ensure installations comply with contract documents and codes

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• Active Certified Construction Inspector (CCI) certification
• High School graduate or equivalent with building trade journeyman accreditation
• 5-9 years of field trade experience in electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, or architectural facilities construction or supervision
• Thorough knowledge of construction inspection principles and facilities engineering technologies
• Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and applicable building codes and standards
