Construction HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement HSE policies and management systems at the project site
• Perform Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Verify the adequacy of the site HSE plan and update documentation throughout construction phases
• Ensure subcontractors comply with all applicable HSE procedures, regulations, and standards
• Organize and participate in periodic HSE inspections, audits, and site walk-arounds
• Coordinate site HSE training activities and lead the site HSE committee
• Lead the site emergency response team and fire prevention/fighting team, including organizing drills
• Conduct full investigations into work accidents to identify corrective measures and prevent recurrence
• Prepare HSE monthly progress reports and maintain site HSE statistics and performance indicators

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience working on at least 3 major EPC projects
• Extensive experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors
• Diploma in Safety or relevant HSE Certification
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• NEBOSH GC/IGC certificate
