Construction General Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate diverse trades on dynamic construction projects to ensure safety, quality, and seamless execution.
• Oversee all subcontractors in the field and manage Working Foremen assigned to individual project locations.
• Coordinate with Construction Services Team Leads and Planners to acquire necessary materials, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain accountability for the safety, quality, and schedule of each assigned project.
• Perform installation of systems and utilize computerized databases to maintain required project records.
• Implement industry-standard safety practices, including the proper use and inspection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and electrical testing equipment.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent certifications/education.
• Ten (10) years of experience in a construction trade, or 15 years of combined experience in industrial/commercial construction.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting all aspects of blueprints.
• Experience using computerized databases for record-keeping.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard safety practices and electrical de-energization testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a commercial or industrial construction environment.
• Experience overseeing the safety and support of Electrical, Mechanical, and ACS crafts.
• Existing SCI clearance.
