Construction Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a crew of carpenters and laborers on active job sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Plan daily tasks, assign work, and ensure projects stay on schedule
• Oversee construction of frameworks, structures, and fixtures
• Direct drywall installation, finishing, and repairs
• Coordinate basic electrical, plumbing, and concrete work
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of equipment
• Communicate progress to project managers and other trades
• Maintain a clean and organized job site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and construction machinery
• Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and skid steers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to travel up to 90% including overnights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a supervisory or foreman role
• Completion of an apprenticeship program
• Trade school or vocational training
• Experience with concrete work (forming, pouring, finishing)
