About the role
Responsibilities
- Support daily field execution across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty subcontract scopes
- Perform construction supervision and field inspections to verify work aligns with drawings, specifications, and codes
- Manage construction administration including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and tracking logs
- Coordinate onsite activities between subcontractors, engineering, quality, safety, and operations teams
- Support material receipt inspections, traceability, and preservation controls
- Assist with constructability reviews, design reviews, and the implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site-specific safety and security requirements
- Support testing, commissioning, and turnover activities, including the compilation of documentation packages
Requirements
- 8+ years of construction experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical facilities
- Experience in regulated or high-consequence environments (e.g., DOE, nuclear, aerospace, or industrial)
- Proficiency with construction drawings, specifications, and means and methods
- Experience managing RFIs, submittals, inspections, and turnover documentation
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Ability to work onsite in Idaho Falls, ID, and travel to other project locations as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional safety and quality certifications
- Experience with advanced fission or nuclear energy projects
