Construction Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the estimating process including pre-bids, quantity take-offs, and sub-bid solicitations
• Perform weekly submission of quantities installed for productivity reporting
• Manage document control procedures including Drawing Logs, RFIs, Submittals, and Meeting Minutes
• Compile and submit submittal packages and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Update project punch lists and issues matrices
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with the project schedule
• Assist with onsite material purchases and project closeout requirements
• Support the Superintendent in completing "As Built" drawings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primavera
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Knowledge of construction and scheduling techniques
• Valid driver’s license
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BIM and Bluebeam
• OSHA 30 hour certification
