Construction Estimator

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial evaluation of bid pack packages
• Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design with an electrical focus
• Evaluate tender rates against market rates and prepare evaluation reports
• Provide commercial input for design optioneering and value engineering
• Prepare cash commitment forecasts for the construction life cycle
• Analyze labor markets and cost drivers such as unions and tax
• Deliver Life Cycle Costing models and benchmarking integration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, cost management, quantity surveying, or related construction field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction cost management
• Advanced level of English fluency
• Experience in Estimating, Cost Engineering, or Project Cost Controls
• Experience supporting program-level cost management for medium or large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of value management and value engineering
