Constructions RDJ inc. is a well-established family business specializing in the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. We execute projects through plans and specifications, turnkey solutions, and construction management for both private and public clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze calls for tenders, plans, specifications, and contractual documents
• Issue invitations to tender to subcontractors in collaboration with the administrative assistant
• Prepare, complete, and submit bids
• Participate in tender site visits
• Perform quantity take-offs for specific disciplines
• Evaluate material and labor costs
• Prepare bonding and insurance requests
• Develop schedules using MS Project
• Draft purchase orders
• Participate in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors under supervision
• Assist in transferring files to the management team

Requirements

• Diploma in construction estimation, architectural technology, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating commercial, industrial, or institutional projects
• Strong knowledge of B.S.D.Q. and tendering platforms such as SEAO
• Knowledge of construction standards and regulations (RBQ, CCQ, CNESST, etc.)
• Excellent ability to read plans and specifications
• Strong analytical skills, organizational sense, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of design-build projects
• Proficiency in MS Project
