Construction Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy machinery, including forklifts and wheel loaders
• Maintain and repair industrial equipment, such as conveyors and diesel generators
• Diagnose operational issues and propose effective solutions
• Process work orders in the computer system and ensure follow-up
• Handle requisitions for spare parts
• Support operations by setting up mobile conveyor installations for ship loading
• Occasional travel to other terminals across the province to support operations

Requirements

• Professional training in construction equipment mechanics
• DEP in industrial mechanics or heavy vehicle mechanics is also considered
• Ideally 3 years of relevant experience (junior profiles may be considered)
• Welding skills are an asset
