Responsibilities
- Diagnose common mechanical failures (hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic)
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and repair manuals
- Identify spare parts using catalogs and prepare orders
- Maintain an orderly and secure work environment
- Perform basic welding tasks
- Execute preventive maintenance on equipment
- Complete other related tasks as needed
Requirements
- DEP in construction equipment mechanics or equivalent training
- Minimum three years of experience as a construction equipment mechanic
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Possession of a complete toolbox (imperial and metric systems)
- Ability to work autonomously and solve problems proactively
- Availability for alternating day and evening shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Skills in electricity, hydraulics, diesel engines, transmissions, and welding
- Deep knowledge of mechanics and new technologies
