Construction Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare Construction execution plans for medium to large-sized projects
• Contribute to scope of work documents for yard subcontracts
• Address constructability concerns with the project team or Construction Manager
• Review client contract specifications and prepare project construction specifications
• Enforce relevant QA and HSE procedures for all Construction personnel
• Establish and review construction procedures and planning input
• Supervise preparation of Onshore/Offshore Integration/Hook-up work packs
• Plan and analyze work progress and initiate corrective actions
• Write and issue weekly progress reports
• Assist and advise construction personnel and identify training needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical college diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or Materials Science
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management in the oil & gas industry
• Specific experience with offshore facilities such as FPSO, FSO, or FLNG
• Mechanical or structural background preferred
• Fluent in spoken and written English
