Construction Economist

Responsibilities

• Analyze and estimate total costs for new construction and renovation projects from design to completion
• Draft contractual documents including CCTP, DPGF, and other necessary consultation papers
• Produce detailed plans, measurements, and architectural synthesis details using AutoCAD or BricsCAD
• Propose technical and economic solutions to optimize budgets while respecting regulatory and environmental requirements
• Prepare and analyze consultation files, participate in contractor selection, and assist in contract negotiations
• Perform site visits and monitor construction progress in coordination with the Project Manager
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry technical and regulatory evolutions

Requirements

• Degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Construction Economics or Architecture
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a design office, architecture firm, or general contracting company
• Proficiency in measurement and estimation software such as ATTIC+ and Excel
• Mastery of AutoCAD or BricsCAD for technical plan production
• Knowledge of both public and private markets
• Experience with high-end projects (5-star hotels, luxury villas) is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit
