Construction Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from initiation through completion
• Develop and implement construction strategies, schedules, and budgets aligned with client requirements
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Monitor project performance, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to maintain momentum
• Engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers to foster strong relationships
• Promote team development and mentor junior professionals
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and project bidding

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction management, including leadership roles
• Proven track record of managing multimillion or billion-dollar construction programs
• Expertise in contract negotiation, risk management, and quality assurance
• Proficiency with construction management software and project tracking tools
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multicultural environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
