Construction Director

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-functional site supervision team for a large-scale rail infrastructure project including tunnels, viaducts, and stations
• Manage key stakeholder interfaces with client organizations and government departments
• Oversee overall construction management and control
• Monitor contractors for contractual compliance and progress against schedule
• Ensure project delivery regarding time, cost, quality, and Health & Safety standards
• Manage resources to meet current and future commitments

Requirements

• Minimum BSc, BEng, or equivalent qualification
• Chartered status preferred
• 20+ years of experience, with at least 7 years in a similar project/role
• Proven track record in delivering large multi-functional infrastructure projects, preferably Rail
• Experience with heavy civils including tunnels, viaducts, and iconic building assets
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, project controls, quality, and health & safety
• Excellent communication and reporting skills for senior executives
