Construction Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction efforts through in-house and contract labor for new construction and rebuild projects
• Read blueprints and engineering files to provide field constructability reviews
• Supervise, evaluate, and report on subcontractor and in-house personnel performance
• Coordinate with engineers and project management on plant design revisions
• Draw and sketch installation locations for equipment such as splice cabinets and cable routes
• Perform site inspections for quality control and monitor contractor adherence to agreements
• Manage relationships between contractors, crews, city officials, and the company
• Provide detailed updates to schedules and production rates on a daily and weekly basis

Requirements

• 3 years of telecommunications technical experience
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and G.O. 95
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering files
• Strong basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Sheets
• Valid California Driver’s License and clean DMV record
• Ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds
• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor in varying weather conditions
