Project Resources Group (PRG) is a leading provider of construction management, outside plant damage assessment & recovery, business outsourcing and consulting services within the cable, telephony, construction and utility industries.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments and perform field functions in various weather conditions
• Utilize utility locator equipment to verify underground utility paths within excavation areas
• Read and reference locate tickets, maps, and prints
• Verify quality, accuracy, and adherence of work provided by SOW
• Visit completed work orders within 48 hours to verify locate wire installation, tone, and depth
• Log and escalate issues to personnel
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Ability to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb stairs
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft tools
• Willingness to use personal vehicle for field work
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of underground utilities
• Experience using locating equipment (Dynatel, RD, Rycom, Vivax, etc.)
• Education on local area dig laws
• Strong understanding of fiber engineering
