Construction Coordinator (GIS)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end OSP engineering workflow for FTTH deployments
• Manage external engineering vendors to ensure timely and accurate design packages
• Utilize GIS platforms and AutoCAD to review and validate fiber network designs
• QA/QC fiber construction drawings, permit drawings, SLDs, splice sheets, and BOMs
• Identify routing conflicts, constructability risks, and permitting constraints
• Coordinate with deployment, permitting, and construction teams to ensure alignment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience supporting FTTH or OSP fiber infrastructure projects
• Experience supporting or constructing OSP and ISP fiber networks
• Strong understanding of fiber construction workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in GIS, 3-GIS, and AutoCAD
• Experience using QGIS and MyMaps
• Comprehensive knowledge of Fiber Optic network equipment and OSP architectures
• Knowledge of BOM creation and material research
• Knowledge of ROW/easements and municipal utility permitting
• Proficiency in Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office
