About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee detailed commissioning plans for all facility systems in support of manufacturing facilities
  • Align commissioning procedures and standards, providing real-time lessons learned to mitigate schedule and cost risks
  • Manage owner representative commissioning agencies and collaborate with construction PM teams and contractors
  • Provide weekly updates on benchmark metrics, commissioning progress, and high-risk issues impacting schedule and cost
  • Drive the commissioning process to meet manufacturing start dates and support construction activities
  • Ensure strict alignment to safety standards and environmental regulations throughout the process
  • Validate and manage all closeout documentation required for system sign-off and turnover to operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commissioning within the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or high-tech manufacturing sectors
  • Proven track record leading commissioning teams on large-scale capital projects
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as SEMI, ISO, OSHA, and EPA
  • Proficiency in Autodesk products like Revit, Microsoft Suite, and cloud-based commissioning programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in electrical engineering or extensive experience with complex electrical systems
  • Master’s degree in an engineering discipline
  • 10 years of experience specifically commissioning semiconductor facilities
  • Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols, process equipment, and semiconductor facility utilities
  • Ability to implement AI-enabled ideas to improve commissioning speed and reporting accuracy
