Construction Benchworker - Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on grippers, sweep buckets, shovel buckets, hoppers, and pontoons
• Execute repairs following stevedore damage
• Conduct structural inspections to identify urgent maintenance and repair needs
• Locate and resolve mechanical and welding technical malfunctions on equipment
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting activities for cranes and pontoons
• Participate proactively in projects aimed at optimizing the Equipment Management department

Requirements

• MBO 3/4 technical diploma in Construction Benchworker/Welder
• Demonstrable experience in metalworking or motivation to learn the field
• No fear of heights
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• No motion sickness
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive team player with attention to detail
• Flexible and result-oriented attitude
• Driving license B, E is a plus
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Willingness to follow relevant training and courses
