Construction Administration/Site Observation/Field Specialist in Landscape Architecture

Responsibilities

• Preparation of construction drawings, documents, and sets with a focus on technical details
• Reviewing and redlining drawing sets
• Conducting materials research and writing technical specifications
• Monitoring and reviewing a diverse range of projects under construction
• Elevating construction quality and attending/leading meetings
• Collaborating with designers at all levels

Requirements

• Professional undergraduate or graduate degree in landscape architecture, landscape construction, architecture, planning, or urban design
• 2+ years of professional experience in a design office
• Broad knowledge of landscape architectural construction
• Site observation or construction administration experience
• Technical understanding of landscape architecture site development elements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Ability and willingness to travel, including driving
• Licensure as a landscape architect, planner, or architect (or intent to become licensed)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu
• Skills in hand sketching
• Experience with 3D modeling (SketchUp or Rhino)
• Experience with Revit or other BIM software
