Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on grippers, sweep buckets, shovel buckets, hoppers, and pontoons
• Execute repairs following stevedore damage
• Conduct structural inspections to identify urgent maintenance and repair needs
• Locate and resolve mechanical and welding technical faults on equipment
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting for cranes and pontoons
• Participate in projects to optimize the Equipment Management department

Requirements

• MBO 3/4 technical diploma in Construction Benchworker/Welder
• Demonstrable experience in metalworking or motivation to learn the field
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• No fear of sea sickness
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive team player with attention to detail
• Proficiency in the Dutch language (written and spoken)
• Driving license B, E is a plus
