About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative during the pre-construction phase of K-12 projects
- Assist in defining and reviewing Project Requirement Document scope of work and schedules
- Provide value engineering recommendations at the start of the design phase
- Review design deliverables to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, conflicts, errors, and omissions to reduce RFIs and Change Orders
- Ensure coordination between various design disciplines
- Prepare comprehensive constructibility reviews of pre-bid construction documents
- Coordinate efforts collaboratively with project leadership
Requirements
- 15 years of professional experience, which can be met via an Architecture degree with specific Construction Administrator and Designer experience, or via extensive Project Management/Superintendent experience on large-scale public/educational or commercial projects
- Proven experience with public or educational facility construction projects
- Experience managing projects with significant construction value (minimum $8M single/$80M cumulative for Architecture track; $30M single/$400M cumulative for PM track)
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to write RFCs, review submittals, and manage change orders

- Salary range of $178,000 - $183,000
