Constituent Records and Gift Processor

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely gift entry for cash, checks, credit cards, online, matching gifts, in-kind, and wired funds into The Raiser’s Edge database
• Update constituent records with current information from validated sources, including changes to address, name, marital status, or deceased status
• Research returned mail to ensure address accuracy and update records accordingly
• Assist in developing policies and procedures for constituent and gift records
• Maintain constituent paper files and ensure weekly tribute letters are prepared for the Director
• Participate in monthly Institutional Advancement staff meetings and weekly Advancement Services meetings

Requirements

• High school diploma and 3 years of experience in a similar position, OR a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Valid NC driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy packages and boxes

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using The Raiser’s Edge database
• General experience working with databases
• Experience working within an educational setting
